I had a great stay at this hotel by the river. The location is perfect, surrounded by beautiful mountains and near nice restaurants. The rooms are comfortable and well furnished, with balconies where I could relax and enjoy the view. The staff was friendly and provided basic amenities, including fresh towels, without any issues. The breakfast was exceptional, with a variety of options and delicious homemade jams.
All was good, no improvements needed.

Location is very good, just near the river but you need a ride for beach. Helpful and smiling staff. Classic 'Akyaka' architecture. Awesome breakfast by the river, its traditional Turkish, you can add 'sucuklu yumurta' (scrambled egg with spiced beef) for a 7 Lira. Highly reccomended.

Amazing setting for fabulous breakfast and dinner and free bread given to throw to the ducks brought out the inner child in us both. Lovely room with pretty views. Best place we stayed all holiday.

The breakfast by the river was a great start to the day and the location of the hotel was excellent for exploring the area. the rooms were tastefully decorated and very clean, with a mini, bar and a small balcony with seating. the pool and spa, related features were also appealing and added to the experience.
The maintenance of the property seemed lacking, with some basic repairs needed, such as re, grouting in the shower. This was a shame because otherwise, the hotel was excellent value for money, with great facilities and a stunning location.

Nice people. Nice pool. Good breakfast at restaurant opposite
The double room for one person that we had booked had no windows. This unacceptable. We were forced to pay €30 to upgrade to a double room.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. The location was stunning, nestled against mountains and just across from a peaceful river. The hotel facilities were excellent, with a beautiful pool area that had good loungers and umbrellas. The hotel also had a great wifi connection that covered both the room and pool area. We particularly enjoyed the fact that the hotel was located near the river, with fantastic restaurants right on its doorstep. This allowed us to enjoy breakfast each morning surrounded by ducks and incredible scenery. The staff, although not English speakers, were incredibly friendly and accommodating. our room was decent, with a nice balcony and sufficient storage space. The bathroom was clean and modern, with the only downside being the shower layout which resulted in wet and messy floors after use.
Nothing not to love.

Excellent rooms, excellent service from the staff and a fair price. The hotel is situated directly opposite an outstanding restaurant (Halil in Yeri). This is my second time in Hotel Azmakhan & it has impressed me again.

A pretty Akyaka Hotel built in accordance with typical Akyaka architecture with a young staff always smiling and always willing to help. Rather new facilities, almost brand new furniture, lots of wood used in and out of rooms which reflects a feeling of cosiness
Laundry needs to be taken care of with a higher level of attention. We spotted a few hair on the sheets of our extra bed, which were then replaced upon our request. The new ones were even in worse condition (more hair).

We have just come back from a fantastic holiday at the Azmakhan Hotel in Akyaka. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, though you have to bare in mind this is a Turkish resort so English is limited. If you want to get away and experience Turkey away from the usual tourist spots then Akyaka is ideal. The Azmakhan is situated by the river, breakfast is served in a restaurant on the river, whilst watching the fish and ducks. The beach is a 30 minute walk away. Everything is very reasonable price wise as this area is used mainly by the Turkish, and definitely no one trying the "hard sell" on you. On our last day the hotel manager let us use the room till our taxi arrived at 6pm for no extra charge. The room was cleaned every day and had a large bed. Only downside is the menu by the pool was a bit poor and written on the back of a bit of paper in Turkish which although funny could be improved. If your looking for a nice peaceful holiday and want to see some of Turkey I would definitely recommend the Azmakhan Hotel.

Great value for money - we were pleasantly surprised at the size of the room. The room also had wi-fi, and airconditioning. We had a car, so location was not an issue. We didn't try any spa facilities so cannot comment on this.
Coffee and tea in the room had to be payed for separately. No elevator so suitcases were hauled up and down stairs.

Very well presented hotel with nicely furnished rooms. Very clean and tidy with very good facilities, breakfast location was excellent by the river. Staff attentive and helpful.
Parking was ordinary, on the street. The hotel is a good walk from the town centre and sea side. Despite requesting a room with large double bed in the booking we were given a room with 2 single beds and had to ask for a room change for the double bed. I don't know if this would have happened if the hotel had had more guests.

Very happy with my stay at this hotel. the location was perfect. It was situated just across from a peaceful river, nestled against the mountains. The hotel itself was well-maintained and the attention to detail was evident throughout. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with balconies offering a nice view. Fresh towels were provided daily, which was a nice touch. Additionally, the breakfast spread was delightful, with a variety of options and homemade jams. All in all, a great experience.
